Nuclear analytical methods

Mössbauer spectroscopy

What is Mössbauer's spectroscopy?

Unique and highly accurate non-destructive analytical method.
Based on the phenomenon of noiseless emission and absorption of gamma radiation.
Used primarily for the analysis of iron-containing materials (including nanomaterials).
Provides information on the structure and exact composition of the sample (incl. oxidation states and surrounding studied atoms).
It can also be used to analyze other metals, such as tin.

What we offer:

Structural, phase and magnetic characterization of iron-containing (or tin) materials.
Determination of valence and spin states of Fe atoms.
The use of the Mössbauer spectrometer for the measurement of residual austenite.
Electron microscopy and its use (SEM, EDX).
Modeling and simulation of dynamic phenomena using a supercomputer.
